Just to catch you up... 8 mo. after my mission I was diagnosed with Leukemia (April of '97) and had a bone marrow transplant. It was pretty serious but the Lord, my family and friends supported me through it (thank you to those of you who prayed for me). Miracles DO happen and I am VERY grateful.
A couple of yrs. later I went to a mission reunion & got talking to Elder King(we had both been home abt. 3 yrs.). Anyway, he asked me out later that week. One thing led to another and we ended up married!
We are living in Oklahoma now. Jered joined the Air Force to pay for his dental and endodontic school. He is almost finished with his payback time and plans to start his own practice in a year or so. We are currently in the process of deciding where to set up shop.
I am a full time mom. I don't interpret for the deaf any more (except at church once in a while) but I do teach sign language at my kid’s school. I am currently a ward missionary and LOVE it!
We have a five year old (Camilla) and a nine year old (Ethan). We adopted both of them through the church when they were 3 days old. They are such blessings to us!
I still have a strong testimony of the restored gospel and am so grateful for every single blessing the Lord has given me--Especially for my recovery, a wonderful righteous husband and my sweet children. I love them with all of my heart.
