I figured it is about time to update this thing.
Since the mission (I came home in July 2001) I finished my communications degree at BYU. I then spent the next few months working in car sales while I found a "real job."
The funny thing is that at my first "real" job I made about half what I did as a car salesman. That first real job was a TV producer at a Salt Lake City television station. I produced business, health and consumer segments for our morning show. I worked there for two years before I moved on.
I am currently doing work as a Computer Usability consultant. I have done work for the federal government and Paul Allen (co-founder of Microsoft).
In addition to my consulting work, I am preparing to go to law school. I have always thought practicing law would be fun, but dreaded law school. Now I am going to take the plunge.
Of course the best thing I have done in the past few years is marry my beautiful wife Sarah. We have no kids, but have started the paperwork to adopt.
