| Comments: Three kids so far. They're really learning the gospel. Family Home Evening really works -- do it! We also have morning scripture reading and an evening gospel discussion every day, which helps a lot. (My wife joined the church at age 13 and I joined at age 20, so we've had to learn how a LDS family is supposed to work.) I've learned that our loving Father in Heaven gives us weaknesses and difficulties to help us grow. I've come to understand that faith is trusting that God knows what he is doing in this situation and not questioning his choices for our lives. I've better come to understand what it means to have consecrated everything I am and have to God for his work. Every second I live is not my time but his. God lives, and this is his work! Follow the prophet and give your every breath to Jesus Christ, and you will have happiness! | |
