Nancy Ruth Pomeroy
On August 8, 2004 our loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother passed away in Snowbird, Utah while vacationing with her husband. Nancy was born on January 18, 1934 in San Francisco, California. She was the youngest of 2 children born to Louis Osterloh and Ida Mae McGrew. She loved people and spent her life serving others. She was a friend to everyone she met. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings including Relief Society President twice and served as a missionary to the Salt Lake City Visitors Center with her husband, and had recently been called as a temple worker. She had been a volunteer at Mesa Lutheran Hospital and the MARC Center. She was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Survived by husband, Patrick; daughters, Pamela (Lee) Iorg and Julie (Larry) Woods; sons, Kimball, Scott (Lori), Wayne (Becky); 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Wayne (Cecil) Pomeroy and sister-in-law, Jean Davis. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004 from 6-8:00 p.m., Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., LDS East Mesa Stake Center, 2228 E. Brown Rd., Mesa, AZ with visitation one-hour prior to service. Donations may be made to the Perpetual Education Fund LDS Church, Disbursing Office Room 1521, 50 E. N. Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84150.
