News Item: Sister Bertha Samoa has passed away

Sister Bertha Samoa, who served on Temple Square during 1998-1999, died on March 21st 2007 after struggling from infection due to an uncommon auto-immune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris. She was also one of the youngest and newest members of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
"Our association with our dear sister Samoa was wonderful. She was so kind-hearted and talented. We will always remember her beautiful singing voice and her dedication to missionary work..." Bob and Maurine Winters said.
