Saw the request for clothing info and I remember what it was like trying to figure that out -- I made some awful choices when I first bought mission clothes. Here's a couple tips: loose khaki skirts/jumpers etc for the summer. Keep your shirts that need ironing down to a minimum -- you'll hate them on p-day, I only wore them to conferences. Lots of short- and long-sleeved t-shirts (fitted, not the gym-style variety) that you can dress up and wear under jumpers, sweaters, vests etc. Lots of sweaters and vests. Cotton knee-socks if you're like me and hate nylons, thick cotton tights for winter (I heard thermal garments under those are great). Only use heeled shoes for Sundays -- you'll hate walking all day in them, I wouldn't even bring them. As shoes and skirts go, remember: Bikes. And skirts: try to have a few that are washable, dry cleaning's expensive and a nuisance. Try to buy as much as you can before the mission -- nothing like trying to get to a mall on p-day when you're in the country (good luck with that). Have fun you guys, Virginia people are great.
