Right on, I got home from that mission about a year ago. If your going into the MTC in June, then that means that you'll be getting to the mission around the time that President Feller leaves, (Somewhere around Early July). If you get to meet him and his family, you'll love them from the first minute. If you want suggestions on what to take, I'd reccomend most importantly that you take a warm overcoat for the winters. Also, I found that everything on the list that you got with your call, is the most accurately. Most missionaries don't use the Handkerchiefs, but it came in very handy if you sweat easy, or have hayfever. It get's really hot in the summers, and you get used to the humidity, at least that's what everyone says. If you get down to the north carolina part, you can actually see it. I'm from utah, so I thought that was pretty cool. President Feller is very obedient, so he follows all of the mission rules. He's awesome. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
