HE was a powerful leader and example to everyone in the mission...he will be missed!: For those of us that new this wonderful person and missionary, wanted to inform all that Elder Lake was killed in a bicycle/automobile accident 21 June 2003. Derek was riding his mountain bike (as he loved to do) and was hit by a car. The funeral is 25 June 2003. If you go to the SL Tribune web site under OBITUARIES, there is a link so that we can sign a guest book for the family. I will always remember Elder Lake's love for people. He was able to make friends with anyone, anywhere. We will miss you Derek. We love you and thank you for coming to the VRM!!
