Comments: Well, post-mission life is definitely a new adventure. It's a new opportunity to learn and grow. Right now I have returned to school. I am taking prerequisites at the Community College, and hope to get into a Masters Degree program in Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah this Fall (2007). I am making enough money to survive as a server at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Soon after returning home, I was called as a mission prep teacher in my home stake. I love this calling, as it gives me an opportunity to teach the gospel and remember my mission. I also started going to a student ward, where I am the ward prayer co-chair (Sundays are definitely busy! But I love it). I am just so grateful for the opportunity I had to serve in the Washington DC South mission. I love all those I met. Thank you all for the great impact you had on my life. I know without a doubt that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father, that Jesus is the Christ, and that this church and gospel are His restored today through living prophets. |
