Hello one and all!
It's hard to believe that almost five years have passed since coming home from the mission. While it seems like almost yesterday, looking back there have been some happy changes--notably:
May 2003--Marrying Jason Wheeler in the Logan Temple. Everybody said that married life would be so hard, but nearly three years later, it still seems kind of like a happy honeymoon, plus dishes.
December 2005--The birth of our daughter, Brooklyn. Post-baby life is still a honeymoon, plus diapers and more dishes.
Our family is currently living in Champaign, Illinois where Jason is earning his master's degree in architecture. We're thinking about spending the next year on a study abroad program in Versailles, France. I hope that French is easier to pick up than Viet...
Even though I may not have retained much (read any) of the mission language, I still remember the feelings and especially the people. Thanks for your wonderful examples.
