Comments: President Hamula is serving in the First Quorum of the Seventy, having been sustained as a General Authority of the Church in the April 2008 General Conference.
Elder and Sister Hamula currently live in Auckland, New Zealand, where Elder Hamula serves as President of the Pacific Area. Sister Hamula accompanies Elder Hamula on mission tours and other assignments, and cares for the two children that have accompanied them to New Zealand (Jared and Joseph).
The Hamula's children are:
Jerilyn, age 25, a graduate of Arizona State University and working for an executive recruiting firm in Phoenix;
Jordan, age 24, serving in the U.S. Army, currently stationed in Kunar Province, Afghanistan;
Jenny, age 22, returned missionary from the Canada Montreal (French-speaking) Mission, attending BYU-Provo;
Julie, age 20, after living with the family in New Zealand, currently attends BYU-Idaho and is planning on a mission in early 2013;
Jared and Joseph, age 16, live with the family in New Zealand and attend early morning seminary and Takapuna Grammar School; play on school basketball team. |
