Comments:
The Washington DC Mission was divided North and South on July 1, 1986. The Washington DC South Mission began with 97 missionaries (15 were from the Roanoke Mission in the Fredrickberg Stake). Within 6 months there were 230 missionaries (spproximately 180 elders 50 sisters 10 couples 20 assigned to both Spanish and Asian areas). This was the DC South compliment for 3 years. These were exciting years as the very best missionaries were sent to strenthen this new mission and set a high standard for all future missionaries to emulate. Sister Ward and our family would be thrilled to have you call 562-4259639 or visit Southern California 4221 Fleethaven Road Lakewood 90712. We still dearly love all our missionaries!
