I was a foster parent to a 17 year-old girl named Lacey. She is the third foster child to come through our home. We had two other girls, Lillian -- who was 5, and her younger half-sister Cheyenne -- who was 2. We are unable to have our own children, and are hoping to adopt either through foster care or LDS Family Services. I am currently working as a teller at a credit union, and Nathan is a full-time custodian for Davis County School District. We just bought a home in Sunset. We have just been called as Primary teachers in our ward. I wouldn't mind teaching the older kids, but the Lord seems to think we would work better with the younger kids. Oh, well! The Lord knows best, and I trust in Him. |
