After graduating from BYU in 1976, I joined the US Air Force and served for 28 1/2 years until Oct 2004. Six months before retiring from the Air Force I served on a deployment to the Combined Joint Task Force--Horn of Africa in Djibouti supporting Operation Enduring Freedom to fight the Global War on Terrorism. I served as Director of Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems providing communications for military operations in the countries of Yemen, Eritrea, Djibouti, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. I am currently a Program Manager for Northrop Grumman Corp. in Colorado Springs, CO, where we work on satellite ground control operations. |
