En el periodico de la iglesia, "Church News" habia una noticia de que un misionero que estaba en la Mision Mexico Oaxaca se murio. Estaba hablando con gente en la banqueta y un camion de piedra subio y lo atrapezo. Se murio mas tarde en el hospital.
In the Church News this week, there was an article about a missionary who dies while in the mission field. He was talking to a group of people on the sidewallk when a dump truck jumped the curb and struck the Elder. He later died in a Hospital from injuries.
A full-time missionary serving in Oaxaca, Mexico, died Nov. 9 after he was struck by a truck.
Killed was: Elder Joel Galindo Flores, 23, of Pachuca, Mexico.
Elder Flores was standing on a sidewalk speaking with a group of people when a 10-wheel dump truck jumped the curb, hitting the missionary, according to a witness.
Elder Flores was transported to several different hospitals for treatment but died later that evening. A convert, he had served 13 months in the Oaxaca Mexico Mission. Before leaving on his mission, Elder Flores baptized his widowed mother, Maria Antonia Galindo Dominges, and two of his sisters. A fellow missionary remembered Elder Flores being an "amazing person" who cared deeply for the people he was teaching.
