My mother unexpectedly passed away in January and my son turned 4 in February. I'm still a confirmed bachelor (the second time around) and I have about a week left before I finish my MBA.
I left Zions last month and took a job as an analyst for a firm that invests in foreign equity. It has been a great experience and I hope to learn a great deal over the next few years. I'll be traveling overseas periodically for site inspections and consulting visits, I have been so busy with work and school during the last few years that I haven't been able to travel as much as I would have liked so I'm looking forward to seeing some new places. I am also in the process of implementing a more personal investment strategy that I have been working on for the last few months.
I have lived in Utah for awhile now and it has started to grow on me. I'm sure I'll end up back in CA at some point but for the time being I am happy here. Hope all is well with everyone else! |
