It is amazing how much time has passed since serving in Indiana. I graduated from BYU Hawaii in 1998, marrying in 1997. My wife is from South Korea and we met at BYU Hawaii. From Hawaii, we moved to South Korea and spent three years there (I had worked in Korea in 1995 and 1996 during summer break from school). We moved to Las Vegas where my family had relocated from California and spent five years there. Four months ago we moved to Texas. This was a personal move as we wanted to raise our three children somewhere other than Las Vegas.
I am currently serving as ward clerk here in Texas. Since my mission, I have served in the primary, as branch president in Korea, executive secretary, ward clerk three times, stake membership clerk, and sunday school presidency. I have enjoyed serving in the Church and learning as much as possible from each calling. The gospel is very strong in our home and our children love the Lord and his church.
I remember Indiana with fondness and love and would love to hear from anyone I may or may not have served with. |
