I still cherish the time spent in Argentina. I have tender feelings for the people there and the missionaries I worked with. Primavera en las Pampas, es el tiempo para mi. . . . I travel some and have found a great Argentine Restaurant in Las Vegas - El Rincon de Buenos Aires. You will enjoy the food and will discover how much your Spanish has degenerated if you talk with the owner.
I have great memories of all my companions and have loved talking again with Lance Littlejohn, Ross Marshall, Mitchell Meng, Roberto Fischer, Mark Larrabee and Paul Pickett. Would love information on how to contact any others - Phillip Beard, Willie, Johnson.
I got to visit the Carmona Family (Juan Carlos & Rosa - daughters Fabiana & Adriana) in Esquel in March of 2009. I loved seeing them and being back in Argentina. I have also had contact with the Papini Family (Marta & Eduardo and their children) from Tandil. How I love these good people. Wish I would have stayed in touch better!! |
