Thought it about time again to update my profile. The last few years have gone by as fast as the mission for me. I have learned that when you are seriously engaged in a work, time seems to do that. We just finished up MBA school at BYU about 9-months ago, which was a big leap of faith at the time to quit my job and incur debt to go back to graduate school. The experience was great though, and it has not only contributed to my ability to better provide for my family, but has allowed me to gain some wonderful perspective on life. Much like the mission in that sense.
Recently we have been getting settled into a new ward and home. It never seems to amaze me how the fundamental structure of the church is so concrete no matter where you go in the world. What a great blessing it is to be a member of the church!
After now having been home for over eight years, I can see how pivotal the mission was in my life. I knew it when I first got home, but now I can really see how every good thing in my life has come to me because of my decision to have served the Lord and follow his plan.
I wish you all the best. You will forever have a cherished place in my heart and mind, ever having shaped my testimony.
