I graduated from BYU a few years back with a degree in accounting. My wife and I moved to Los Angeles after graduation to start my career with Arthur Andersen. As a result of the demise of Andersen, I began to work for KPMG in the same capacity.
After working as an auditor for Arthur Andersen and KPMG in Los Angeles for two years, I came to the realization that accounting is not for me. My wife and I have recently moved to Johnson City Tennessee to pursue a career in medicine. I have been offered a scholarship by the university and am currently taking prereqs for the MCAT. We are excited about the change and are getting used the area (big difference from California).
