Elderes y Hermanas, those who served in the mid 90's: With sad heart, I share that Stephanie Peterson Diaz passed away this week. Those who had the chance to know or serve with her know how lucky heaven is right now to have such an angel. The Cuello family has been keeping posts about services which I will share below. I will also see about getting an address if you would like to send a card to the family.
For all those interested in attending, services for Stephanie will be at TATE MORTUARY located at 110 South Main Street, Tooele, UT.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 pm-8: 00pm and the funeral will be on Saturday at 11:00 am with a Viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in Tooele SOUTH STAKE located in the 1025 South West Drive, Tooele.

Ok, I haven't gotten a letter from the mission president yet...at least I keep hearing that I should get one from him giving me more specific instructions on what to bring and what i can and can't wear. ESPECIALLY shoes! My roomate was aloud to wear sandals and crocs in Brazil. Since Salta is so hot I'm wondering what kind of shoes we can and can't wear. And clothing ideas too. I have no idea what kind of "winter" clothes i should bring either. I go to school in Rexburg which is the coldest place ever haha. I don't expect Salta to be that cold, but want to get an idea of what i should buy.

Hi,
This is a huge long shot, but I served in the Salta Mission in '99-'01, and I need information about the locations of the pensiones where we lived in various areas. Does anbody know where I can get such information? Even a street map of locations in Argentina would help.
The big problem is that in seven years, the mission changes pensiones.
FYI, I served in Barrio Universitario, Tucuman Oeste; Monterrico, Jujuy; Cuyaya, Jujuy; Barrio Tres Cerritos, Salta; Barrio Belgrano, San Pedro; and Tafi Viejo, Tucuman Oeste.

Hello everybody! I was called to the Argentina Salta Mission about 2 weeks ago, and i was wondering what everybody thought i should get as far as clothes. How many suits do i need and what should i get for shoes? I was told by a friend that served in another Argentina mission to not even bother with bringing a long sleeved shirt, but to take only short sleeved shirts. Does anyone have any suggestons on anything i should know as far as what to take or what to expect? thanks alot!
