None of my comps are on the list...the only one I keep up with is Dave Mortimer (and he was never my companion). We became the best of friends at Utah State University thinking that we knew each other in high school...after palling around for a few years we realized that we had seen each other at a Zone Conference in Perth one time.
Tim Watson called me on the phone from Tasmania around 1998, what an amazing person and missionary he was (and still is I hope)...he told me a lot of his comps didn't appreciate him but he was one of the finest people I have ever know. I would love to hear from him. Also I would love to hear from Elder Rea (from Brisbane I think). I came to truly love Australians mostly though these two great and humble servants of the Lord.
As you can see from the picture I have three great boys and a beautiful wife...the Tongans in the mission used to say..."the harder you work as a missionary the more beautiful your wife will be." (I must of worked really hard). I have a degree in businesses and have been scratching out a living running my own business for nine years now.
About three years ago I decided to get a degree in Nursing. If all goes well I will be a BSN RN in about five months. I hope to work in an ICU for a year or two before going to graduate school to be an anesthetist. (If I ever get that far my days of scratching will be over). They do the same job as an anesthesiologist, but make about half as much...however this is still an obscene amount.
