I haven't been able to make any past reunions and would like to find out if there are any scheduled in the future for President and Sis. Innis and the missionaries involved from 1989-1991. Thanks!

Elders Wayne Milsom and Jeff Davis, both valued but brief companions under President Campbell. My email client isn't interacting with the site, or their email addresses are incorrect. Very fond memories, I think it was the best times of my life.

Please let me know how I can contact them.

All missionaries serving under President Maurer (2007-2010) are invited to the 2012 APM Reunion in the Salt Lake City area on Friday, March 30th.
Information is being posted in the Reunions listings. Additional details will be added as they are finalized.

LUENE LEIFSON LUDLOW
On September 7, 2011, Hannah Luene Leifson Ludlow, 87, surrounded by family, left this mortal life to reunite with her eternal companion, Daniel Hansen Ludlow, whom she dearly missed.
Born November 1, 1923, to J. Victor Leifson and Mary A. Bradford Leifson in Spanish Fork, Utah. Luene was extremely proud of her Icelandic heritage. She spent many years searching hand written records to find her ancestors and will be greeted by thousands who were blessed by that work. Graduating from Spanish Fork High, she married her high school sweetheart, Dan Ludlow on June 10, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple. This began her true legacy.
Mother was devoted to her family and raised 9 children whom she dearly loved, and who in turn dearly loved her. She is survived by her son Victor (V-Ann) Ludlow, daughters Sandra Ludlow, Diane (Doyle) Asay, LuAnn Rothe, Carolyn (Brent) Sweeny, Kathy (Mark) Smith, Shauna (Darrell) Smith, and Michelle (Garr) Judd; as well as 42 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Freda McKell, Thor (Loyce) Leifson, Allen (Mary Lou) Leifson, Afton Rosenbaum, June Leifson, Elaine (Dee) Pullman, and Mark (Freda Kaye) Leifson; and sisters-in-law Ruth Leifson and Marilyn Leifson. She also considered her husband’s family as her own.
Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years; both parents; a daughter Ruth (Nate) Pierce; a son-in-law Ed Rothe; her brothers Glen, Ted, and Jack Leifson; and brothers-in-law William McKell and Var Rosenbaum.
Her life was full of love, kindness, and compassion for all. Everyone left her home with a full heart and stomach. She blessed the lives of so many while serving with Dan all over the world: the Holy Land, Egypt, Australia, Central and South America, Nauvoo, Hawaii, and more. She became the mother to hundreds of missionaries while Dan presided over the Australia Perth Mission, and also many students while Dan directed three BYU semester abroad groups to Israel.
Luene served faithfully during her life in many positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a deep love for the gospel, a fervent testimony she bore often, and she lived her life accordingly. She enjoyed reading, art, traveling, learning, and being with friends, family, and loved ones.
Special thanks to family and many aides and nurses from Alpine Hospice and Aspen Senior Care. We were truly blessed to have many compassionate and kind individuals who lovingly cared for Mom the past two years.
Viewings will be Sunday, September 11, 2011, at the LDS Church located at 2400 North 1060 East, Provo, Utah, from 4:30 to 6:00, as well as Monday, September 12, 2011, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial services will follow at 11:00. Interment in the Benjamin, Utah Cemetery.

RUTH REYNOLDS
Ruth Marjorie Kim Reynolds "Loving Mother" Ruth Marjorie Kim Reynolds, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on July 29, 2011. She was born on May 12, 1926, to Francis Oscar Sigfred Kim and Amelia Maria Erickson. She was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. She attended Sandy Elementary and Jordan High School. Ruth and the love of her life, C. Shirley Reynolds, were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple December 7, 1943. They had six children together, Kim and his wife, Ann; Shirleen Burkinshaw and her husband, Craig; Connie Pearson and her husband, Craig, Lance and his wife, Leslie; Brad and his wife, Kathy; Rob and his wife, Michelle. Ruth has 30 grandchildren, three of whom are currently serving full-time missions, and 46 great-grandchildren, whom she truly loved and supported. Ruth is also survived by two sisters, Venice Perkins and Velma Birch. Ruth came to know her Father in Heaven through her extensive service to the Gospel. She was a dedicated and loyal visiting teacher and loved to visit and mingle with anyone who needed her cheer. She was willing to serve 20 years in the Primary Presidency and after the death of her husband, served nine years as Relief Society President. She also served as Young Women President. She taught Relief Society lessons at the Retirement Inn for five years. She was willing and happy to accept any calling the Lord asked of her. She was a devoted mother and everything she did was to ensure the happiness and success of her children. She was extremely proud of her family and eternally grateful for their kindness and love shown to her. She never went through a Mother's Day without an Orchid corsage. This continued even after her husband passed away. Ruth was an avid BYU fan. She stood and cheered through almost every BYU football game she could attend. She was an "adopted" member of the Daughters of the Pioneers and very much enjoyed meeting with them monthly. One of the most anticipated things she did was to go to Bear Lake with her family. She was ever diligent in seeing to it that everyone had a good time and plenty of food to eat. Her family association at Bear Lake was dear to her heart and her family will be eternally grateful for all that Ruth and Shirley provided for them. Ruth loved being involved in missionary work. She served valiantly with her husband as Mission President in Perth, Australia. She showed great courage and love when she told her husband she would go wherever they were called, even though Perth was as far from her family as could be. Ruth was a very gracious hostess and her home was always open to family and friends. She loved having people around her and enjoyed their company immensely. She inspired others by her style and grace. She spoke kindly of others and showed genuine concern for their welfare. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend will be greatly missed. We will always cherish the time she spent with us and will remember her great example. Everything she did was done out of love. She will live in our hearts forever. We know she is with her sweetheart, Shirley. We look forward to being reunited with them. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 12:00 noon, in the South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 East 4800 South in Holladay. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday, from 11-11:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Online condolences: www.jenkins-soffe.com

Just letting you all know the CD website www.apmcd.com was down for a while. It is fully revamped now, and now has the sheet music for "My Lord My God" transcribed by Larry Sepulveda Jr and published by Guy Jackson. I've had many people ask for this, and it is finally here. Thanks to Jeanette Porter for contacting me and sending it to me.

Sisters, Elders,
Port Hedland and Karratha have had chapels now for 25 years - quite a milestone for these outlaying areas. It's my understanding that the two buildings are the only examples of that type in the southern hemisphere, but that's not why I'm writing.
To celebrate the chapels, we're having an event at Karratha on the weekend of the 22/23 August 2009 and need scans of photos, or stories from missionaries who served in these areas at anytime over the past. I know it's short notice, but hopefully past missionaries can take the time to scan some photos, or email some stories through.
I can be reached at desbromilow@yahoo.com, or you can send them through to the mission office if you prefer.
Many many thanks,
Des Bromilow

Hi all! I am looking for the whereabouts of Paul Thompson and Shane Hope who served their missions around 1986 to 1987. Both served part of their missions in Kalgoorlie. I think they may be from Utah or there about. Would love to get in contact with them.

Talofa peoples. For those of you who served in the great APM 1990 - 92, may remember a wannabee samoan Elvis. Well he (I) hasn't changed much other than a few extra kg's. I'm trying to convert the VHS tape of the great"APM Mission Christmas band of 1991 on dvd. Once I do this I'll post it onto youtube with a link from here.
All the best!

Thank you to President & Sister Robinson, William Joseph Schwartz and Jake Heaton.

There is a Mission group photo of all of us, as well as one with President Hamilton standing with President Hinkley. If anyone would like a copy let me know and I will get it to you. Thank you. That is all

Hi, regarding the APM CD, I am currently working with Sister Robinson (wife of President Robinson (1998-2001) in regards to resurrecting the Perth Mission CD. I will be back with more information when I have it, and how you can obtain it. The goal is to make it downloadable either for creating of a CD, or for iPod. I will try to make the artwork available also.

FYI anyone from or now in Oz who served with Pres Lon Nally - he and Sis Nally are currently serving as full-time missionaries in Sydney, working in the Missionary Department supporting the mission presidents serving in Australia.
