Haven't forgotten! As of today, 5 children and 6 grands and want 100 more. Time is flying by and life gets better -
Came home in 1979. Married 18 months later to Kathleen. Years of shool as normal. Decided that I didn't like working for someone else and started my own electrical contracting business. Ended that after 23 years. Decided I enjoyed it too much and started another business again in 2008. Got another mission call in 2009 and presently am in the Philippines Baguio Mission serving with my sweetheart and best companion. We will return home in July 2012. Doing it all over again. This time I can do it right! Sister Jensen keeps up a blog at http://baguiojensen.blogspot.com. As for family, three boys and two girls. And like everyone else we are very proud of them all and they are active and doing great. The only problem is that we need more grandchildren. I'm convinced they are they best part of life.
To all my old companions I say thank you again. It was truely the best two years of my life - until I got married, until I had children, until I had grandchildren, and until another mission call came. Life is full of peaks. The objective is to stay on top and learn from it when we are not. hehe... |
