My husband and I were baptised in Newcastle (Stake Centre) in 1997 by Elder Mark Bugg and Aaron Thayer. We had 2 daughters at the time - Julia, now 18 and Abbi, now 15. We have added an extra daughter, Miriam now 6.
Most of us have been active all this time. I am currently a teacher in the Relief Society and we still live in the same home.
I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who knows our needs and answers our prayers. The missionaries who knocked on our door (Schumaker and Bugg) were an answer to my prayer, asking for a new church to join - one that taught the truth and was not afraid to take a stand.
