Presidents: J Martell Bird (1970 - 1973) | Earl C. Tingey (1973 - 1976) | Served: 1973 - 1975 | Areas Served: Kingsford, Maroubra Beach, Cronulla, Sutherland, Orange, Liverpool, Wollongong, Manly | Your Occupation: Asst. Director, BYU | Spouse: Diane | Comments: I was thrilled to see the web site and even recognized a few of the names although none were comps. My second son is currently serving in Arizona Tucson. I think it's more difficult saying goodbye to the son than it was being the son leaving. Hard to believe it's been 30 years!
While serving my parents divorced and I never really had a homecoming. Now, on the 30th anniversary of my departure, I've been asked to give a homecoming from an "experienced" RM to our YM and YW. I'll even have Milo and Vegemite samples! I guess that's what I get for being in the Young Men's Presidency!
Still playing my guitar and banjo. Where's Elder Jaynes? |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
