| During the 1975 Area Conference, the Missionary Elders were allowed to attend a special priesthood meeting with President Spencer W. Kimball in the Sydney Town Hall.
Walking up the steps, I was confronted by a man who I believe was not LDS. I don't know what his situation was at the time, or who he was. I had the impression that he was there searching for truth OR with the belief that he had to convinve these 'mormons' of the error of their ways. He asked me a question: "What is the Spirit of Prophecy?" I turned to him, feeling the spirit, and replied with a scripture that I had recently studied: "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." He appeared to be pacified and content, and the last I saw of him was walking down the steps away from the building. I then enjoyed a very spiritual priesthood meeting with the Lord's prophet. |
