| After having a prayer, Elder Vic Reese and I had just left our flat in Cremorne Junction one evening and were going to an appointment. Things were real tough as far as finding investigators to teach. We were walking along a footpath, when suddenly a large, dark, doberman-cross dog came from out of a property behind us, barking madly. For some reason, we just walked calmly on. I remember looking behind us and seeing this disturbed animal about to take a piece out of the seat of Elder Reese's suit pants, when just at that moment, it started choking as if it had something stuck in its throat. Elder Reese and I had verified to us that day, that the Lord does look after His servants when they are doing their best to do what is right. |
