Well, I stumbled on an old email address I haven't used in years to find that it was still actively collecting email. Thousands of messages including a bunch from the Belgium Brussels mission flooded my machine as I uncorked the gene.
I've been married 25 years now and have had 6 boys. Our first son died when he was 3 weeks old of a rare heart condition 23 years ago. Our next son is 21-22 now and a computer super tech and automotive specialist. He is thinking about a mission. Our next son 19-20 is working at a local department store getting ready for his mission. Our forth son 17-18 is a musician and honer student. He plays the trumpet 3 octaves higher then most others can and then runs it an octave lower then average. Our 5th son 14-15 was born with personality to spare. He plays the sax and is almost as good as his older brother. It brings back my teen age years to sit and listen to them play. Then we have our 10-11 year old son. Just big enough to be left when his brothers have things to do.
Laura has been working in the temple for a few years now and I am a trained computer network technician, entrepreneur, and former record label executive. Lately I've been a local conservative republican politician. My health deteriorated in 2006 and I've been working on getting it back. Being an executive takes it out of you. I spent 8 years getting a multimillion dollar net worth to see it gone in 8 months due to online piracy.
I miss the old stomping grounds. I often reflect on the people and places so distant now in time. However, the current joy I get from my family and friends adds to the joy of so many years ago. God has blessed me very well. I hope He blesses all of you as well. |
