Comments: I was a missionario in the Brasil Norte mission from 1971-1973. Maceio had had a branch, but too many had moved away. As missionaries, we would take turns going to Maceio from Recife each weekend to help hold meetings with the previous Branch President. These were trips that I really looked forward to.
