After completing my mission in April 2000 I jumped into a Masters Degree program in Choral Conducting at Michigan State University. I finished that degree in August of 2001 and then moved to Tucson, Arizona to begin a doctorate in vocal performance. I realized after a few weeks into my doctoral program that I was tired of school, so I pulled out and started accompanying choirs at a local high school. I met my husband Jim on August 18, we had our first date at the end of October and got engaged in December. We were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple on May 25, 2002. We have a beautiful boy Samuel who was born on March 17, 2003. Jim is still in school and I am currently teaching music part time at two elementary schools and I have a private voice studio. |
