The best option for you to send letters and/or packages to a missionary may be to send letters AND packages directly to their current residence. They will have to inform you personally of their current address when they move.
Mostly because of mission transfers, don't expect all packages to arrive at the exact right time, so send things early, but most importantly help your missionary be more excited to serve than to wait for your next package!
