In 2005 Me and my family went to Oahu, HI and we had so much fun, we got to go and do a session in the Laie HI Temple and that was a neat experience, we also went to the Polynesian Center. This was my Mom and Sister's first time flying. I am so glad that I got to go on this vacation, because this was actually our last Family Vacation when my Mom was well. She got very, very sick, she had Heart Surgery which she never recovered from, in fact I actually loss my Mom on June 27, 2006.
I am actually attending the 31 and older singles ward in Ogden it is called the Park Ward and it is a great ward--I have made some great friends and have had some wonderful experiences so far. My calling at this time is the Magazine Rep.---which I enjoy a lot, I am also part of the Ward Choir and a Visiting Teacher. This past year I have grown even closer to my Father in Heaven and to my Savior Jesus Christ, I have done a lot of fasting and praying and have received many Priiesthood Blessings and I have come to an even greater appreciation and understandsing of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and I have actually learned for the first time about unconditional love. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church upon the face of this earth, I know that all prayers are answered, even if the answer is no. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that is the word of God---I also know the Bible, Doctrine & Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price are also true and the word of God. I know we have a living Prophet today and that he receives revelations from God. I love my family and friends very much. California, Fresno Mission is the best mission ever. |
