Hi All, I am a professor at Marshall University (MU). I have 8 kids, was married 25 years. My history. Back to college at MU, ROTC - 2 yrs at Fort Sill, OK (2LT Field Art.), back to Huntington, Married. Worked for NCR as a saleman (3yrs). Daughter Sarah born. Back to school (BYU for 3 months), my Dad died, moved back to help my Mom. Ended up back at MU for my MBA. Adam born. Moved to Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA) work on PHD (1yr). Taught at Radford U for 2 years. Mary and Sam born. Move to Mississippi State U to complete my DBA in MIS. Anna born. Moved to Montgomery, AL - taught at Auburn U at M. 4 yrs. Ben born. Moved back home to Huntington and MU. Abby and Hiram born. I have been here 13 yrs (2006). Divorced Jan, 06. Married Hilary Groutage (Logan, UT) Dec 1 06. I have held about every church calling - YM Pres., Ward Mission Leader, Elder Q Pres., HP grp ldr, 2nd Counselor in Bishopric, Stake Clerk. One of our brothers Greg Payne died of leukemia in 1975. I served with Elder Payne in Fresno. |
