Comments:
Serving a mission was the most incredible experience. My testimony was strengthened and I learned more about who I am. I often think of the scripture in Matthew 10:39 which says: "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." That is what I experienced. I learned what is important in this life, and that is to seek after the Lord. Like all the great leaders of the Church, I believe I will one day be able to look back at my service and say that every good thing that happened in my life I will be able to trace back to my service to the Lord in Oakland, CA! I'm so grateful and humbled that I had this amazing opportunity! |
