I loved my Mission!!! I had to return home for surgery but I was able to return to my mission. I also appreciate friendships that I was able to develop. After serving, I went back to working as an on-air radio dj until I moved out to Utah and became engaged. My wife is also from Alabama and attended the Y. I got a BS from the U of U. Currently, I've been married 21 years. We have 6 children. I've served since my Mission as a YM pres, Ward Mission Leader, EQ teacher, 1st Councilor in a Bishopric, 2nd councilor in a branch. Currently I'm a branch clerk. I love it. I love having a temple so close,,,here in Birmingham. My wife and I were ushers at the dedication and actually opend the door to the temple for President Hinckley and company as they entered. It was GREAT! We're active in church-love life. We're happy. We have been very blessed! I miss all of the elders and sisters that I became friends with! I still speak monthly with Pie Konchar. My cell is 205-222-4138 I'd love to hear from N. Van Noy, Carl Ward, D. Bell, Kitchens from WY, D. Ethington-anyone who was there too. I wish all well! My friend Elder Frank Tauche called me from Germany 12/08 and it was so great to hear from him! |
