Well it's been almost 10 years. So much has happened in that time and my mission memories are fading (the two companions whose names I can't remember tonight will be able to vouch for that). At the end of my mission I went to BYU for no other reason than to take classes from Hugh Nibley (ok, and find a cute wife). The first goal proved much easier than the second (hey, I'm a picky guy!). Anyhow, I majored in Classics (Greek and Latin), and am now finishing a Master's degree in Comparative Literature. I need to be done by December, because I start school at the University of Pennsylvania to pursue my PhD in Ancient History in January of 2001. I know, I am the eternal student. My wife, Charlene, is the responsible member of the couple she graduated from BYU law school (class of 2000). Currently she is clerking for Judge Wallace on the 9th circuit in |
