Since returning home, now 15 years ago, much has happened in my life. I have gotten married to a wonderful, and spiritual woman, Diane Sheppard. We have two children, daughter Tia and son Sam. I have had many opportunities to serve in the kingdom. I have served as EQP a couple of times, served as a Ward Mission Leader, Counselor in a Bishopric and currently serve on the Stake High Council. I don't think that I would be remotely close to being worthy of serving in such capacities, had I not chosen to serve an honorable mission and marry up like I did. My testimony though I felt was strong as a missionary, has truly deepen over the years. I have a witness that the Gospel Of Jesus Christ is literally true. Covenants are given to protect us, and I will be forever grateful to have served in the California San Bernardino Mission. My Mission Presidents, Nelsen and Jensen, truly helped prepare me for all the blessings, I believe I now realize. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. |
