I've been home now for 5 years; I'm still single. Big surprise that nothing's happening fast here in Still-hick-land. I'm heading into my 6th (and last-due to an oversight) year of my bachelor's degree at Ok State. My degree is Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in Business. I'm studying both vocal and instrumental music. I've been very blessed; I will graduate in debt free. I've been able to take gigs on both bassoon and contrabassoon, and I sing with the Tulsa Signature Chorale, a quasi-pro choir, as a bass/baritone.
In church, I've been the ward pianist for 4 years now, and I have been ward financial clerk for a year. I'm enjoying working with my bishopric in that capacity
I hope now to finish school strong and see where I end up. There's an outside shot for grad school at USC or San Francisco Music Conservatory...I'd like to get back to Cali :)--K.C. |
