News Item: Elder Tom Roti

For those of you that knew him, Elder Tom Roti (1999-2001) passed away on April, 17 2007. He was diagnosed in January with brain tumors and they were removed. He found out that the tumors had returned in March. I kept in touch with him and was amazed at his attitude and the way he looked at it all.
Tom came down with pnemonia on April 14th and then by the 16th he was in a coma. He died the next afternoon. His wife Elizabeth, called me a couple hours later to let me know the news. She said that they are doing as well as can be expected, but it is definitely hard on them.
Before his tumors, Tom was working at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. He leaves behind his wife and 3 young sons (ages 5, 3, and 1).
His funeral services will be held on April 28th, in Lincoln Nebraska. I have all of the information, if anyone would like it. I, along with a couple other elders will be driving there from Utah, if anyone else would like to go with us.
I am trying to get together some money to give to his wife, so if anyone would like to contribute, please let me know. I would also like to gather some pictures and memories of him as well.
