Other Companions: Elder Al Van Way, Jr.; Elder Joel E. Rea (twice); Elder Brent Beckstead. I was originally called as an English speaking missionary. 6 months later I was called by the mission president to learn Sign Language for the Deaf and to teach those wonderful people. This I did and still know the language, not as good back then but enough to get by on. This was truly a great missionary experience serving the Lord during this time of my life. Anyone who remembers me, don't hesitate to contact me! If you have any photos from the mission during the years from 1978-1982, please send them to me including any current photos of yourselves and family, if any.
