My family is looking for an elder who served in Granada Hills California back in 1960 when the mission was called simply the California mission. His name is William E. Hanson and at the time the card he left said he was from Lapeere Michigan. He would be somewhere around 63 years old now. He doesn't know the influence he had when he shared his testimony on a doorstep with my hostile great grandmother but his testimony helped to convert my grandmother who was listening inside and now three generations of my family who are now members. All my siblings and I have served missions. It was through this simple act that he changed generations of a family. If anyone knows this man I would love to thank him. |
