Aloha, Polynesians from Hawaii sent to North Central Canada to labor on the Anglo and Lamanite areas. Elders Anae and Haiola were from Oahu and I hailed from the Big Island. Remember driving those "Leon" trucks in snow storms and on muddy reserve roads? Freezing sub zero weather, Hockey, Bumper rides, Pow Wows, Church Services in Trailer Homes/Elder's Pads, B-Ball against RCMPs, and more. I'm a single parent residing in Hilo, Hawaii. Retired Correctional Officer. Oldest son Kalani graduated from Mesa St. University in GrandJunction, Colorado (Nice Town). Daughter, Puanani is a mom and a senior at Unv of Hawaii-Hilo. She blessed me with two grandchildren. Granddaughter (Fiona) passed away after birth and grandson (Deion) is 4 yrs. old. Son, Kainoa is at Northern Arizona Unv. and plays football (Linebacker) for the LumberJacks. Youngest son, Kawai'olu is an avid sport fanatic at 12 yrs old. My foster son is 8 yrs old and was recently baptized by Elders Van Tenderen and Smith. I loved my mission. Love eternal Arthur Pea |
