DEATH: MICHAEL LAWRENCE CALDERWOOD

Michael Lawrence Calderwood, 38, died from injuries sustained in a auto-train accident, on Monday, August 29, 1994.
Michael was born the 6th of October, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a son of Boyd Alexander and Arlene Pearl Rogers Calderwood, Sr. He received his education in the Cache County Schools, graduated from Skyview High School in 1974. While in high school he had been a cheerleader and was active in music.He worked for the Ricks Tile Co. as a ceramic tile setter. Michael loved to be with his sons and dedicated most of his time to them. He had served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Manitoba, Winnepeg Mission. At the time of his death he was an Elder in the Logan 26th LDS Ward.
He is survived by his two sons of Logan, Utah, Alex and Nathan Calderwood; his father, Boyd A. Calderwood, Sr., and his mother, Arlene P. LaMont; three brothers, Buddy, Rexburg, Idaho; Rick, Hyde Park; and John, Heber City; three sisters, Carol Labrum; Diane Draper; Linda Bettweiser, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 1994, at 12 noon in the Logan 26th LDS Ward (125 West 6th North) with Bishop Glade Rawlins officiating. Friends may call at the Nelson Funeral Home in Logan, Utah, on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the 26th Ward on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery.
