History of the Mission

Chile Santiago South Mission Created

The Chile Santiago South and North Missions were created in February of 1976 by splitting the the Chile Santiago Mission. President William R. Bradford, previously president of the Santiago Mission, became the President of the newly created mission.

New Mission Created

Santiago West Mission
Previously Santiago North areas of Cinco de Abril, Republica, Maipu, and San Miguel.
Previously Vina del Mar area of San Antonio.
Previously Santiago South areas of everything from Rancagua to Curico with Lo Espejo and La Cisterna.

Santiago South Mission--New Boundaries
La Granja, Gran Avenida, El Bosque, O'Higgins, San Bernardo, Buin, La Florida, Jose Miguel Carrera, Javiera Carrera, Cordillera, Puente Alto, Vicuna Mackenna, El Alicahue, Las Araucarias, Lo Blanco.

If anyone has a map of the new mission boundaries (both South and West Missions) or updates please let me know so I can post it.
