Comments: I'm still chilling in Memphis. Almost finished with my third year of optometry school, only one more to go. I will be starting my externships in August, so we will be returning to Utah for a short period of time. I am now an officer in the United States Air Force, who is helping fund my school and whom I will work for following graduation of optometry school. I love optometry and have really enjoyed seeing patients in the eye clinic. My wife and I had our third and final (hopefully) child in August of 2008. Her name is Savanna Mei Carlsen. Meih gwok ge Meih. She is now 6 months old. My son Sean Colby was born right before we first got to Memphis, and is now 2 1/2 years old. My daughter Kaelin Nicole is now 5 years old. I am once again serving in the primary (seems like I'll always be there), but I love it. Life is good, I had an opportunity to do an eye exam in cantonese and that was fun, so I'll definitely have to learn some more optometry related words in cantonese. If any one happens to be in the Memphis area, look me up. We would love to have you. We look forward to possibly attending a reunion when we are in Utah if the event occurs.
