The Dominican Guabá
I saw one of these in a cave up by San Cristobal, took a picture of it, and wondered for years what the heck it was. The cave guide told us it was poisonuos. Not so. It is a Tailless Whip Scorpion and is harmless to humans, although quite scary looking. Steve J Haynes 02 Sep 2003
