My other companions were: Karin Unruh from Sweden, Jenene Johnson from Nevada, Marie Hartley from Washington, Jauna Kemppaula from Finland and Kim Bush from Texas.
When it was time for me to leave England, I returned home to San Diego. I married my best friend Jim Russ in the Los Angeles Temple in 1987. We have 5 children, 4 sons and 1 daughter. One of our sons has served an honorable mission in the Honduras, San Pedro Sula Mission. Our daughter is currently a missionary serving in the Columbus, Ohio Mission. And we have another son that just received his mission call to serve in the Germany, Frankfurt Mission. For our 25th Wedding Anniversary we celebrated with all of our children in Hawaii, where we had honeymooned. And this past summer we had our first child marry in the San Diego Temple. I know that I am a Child of God. I love the Lord and his Gospel. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is our Saviors church. I'm grateful that our Savior calls Prophets and Apostles to lead us and teach us. I am grateful for the blessings and promises my family has received by having Temples on earth. My testimony first began from studying the Book of Mormon, another witness of Jesus Christ. I know that this book is true scripture. I'm grateful that I was able to share my testimony and a special message from our Savior with the people in England, and I'm grateful for the friends I made on my mission who have blessed my life forever.
