My mission was one of the great treasure chests that I constantly draw from. I was thinking about it today and decided to see what was happening. I am happily married to Kristine Holt. We now have 5 boys, ranging in age from 12 yrs. to 2 yrs. We currently live in Tooele and attend the 10th ward of which I am now serving as bishop. I miss my mission and my companions, all of them. I treasure them more now than ever. I am working for the State of Utah, and my wife has been a homemaker since we began having children. It has been a great struggle in a world that demands so much, but it has been the best investment we have ever made. I still keep in regular touch with Brad Hodson my Tucker companion. We love each other and our families have grown so close. If all I ever took away from Georgia and my mission was my friendship with Brad, I would do it again and again. I loved my mission!! Yes, the Church is truer now that when I served!! I love this work. |
