Comments:
I have fond memories of the mission field... I learned much about my elder brother and much about my self... the power of the priesthood was made manifest to me several times... the spirit of christ was a blessing to me... I am again married... too a wonderful woman who seems to have my best interests in her heart, mind and soul...I am disabled due to a pace maker and reduced lung capacity. I am going back to school hopeing to get a teacher's degree in history. and I thank my father in heaven for the blessings I have recieved... may he bless you all ... Alvin J. Reber Jr.

LDS QUOTE:
"Brothers and sisters, the missionaries need our faith and prayers. Pray fervently every day for their safety and protection, for this is one very important way we all can support them in accomplishing their essential assignment of proclaiming the gospel to all the world. I bear testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We are engaged in his work. I testify that through the faith and prayers of all members of the Church, we will continue moving this great work forward to the final victory. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder M. Russell Ballard, Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Ensign, Nov. 1989
